A note if your association doesn't allow referral fees (e.g. IECA members, whose ethics guidelines don't permit accepting referral commissions): you're still fully part of the program — just skip the W-9 and payment steps entirely below, nothing to fill out. Instead, we'll set you up with a personal discount code that gives your referred families $350 off ($175 per additional sibling) directly, with no fee paid to you. You'll receive this by email shortly — if it hasn't arrived yet, just let Greg know.
Complete Your W-9
If your total referral fees reach $600 or more in a year, the IRS requires GCS to issue a 1099-NEC — which means we need a completed W-9 on file before your first payment goes out. Standard, one-time paperwork.
