PLANNING FOR COLLEGE should start very early!

Is your family prepared?

Most families aren't and that's why they fall into the college cost trap.

We're not talking about saving for college.  We're talking about saving on the cost of college by PLANNING PROPERLY.  Saving for college is one thing, but planning for college is quite another.

Genesis College Strategies has a grade-by-grade plan for college that starts in first grade and ends when your kids are accepted to the college of their dreams.

Whether your kids are in kindergarten or already in high school, our programs are there to give your kids the edge they need.  And to help mom and dad save a ton of cash on an expensive and complicated thing.

We help families of athletes and non-athletes alike properly prepare in every possible way for their upcoming college experience.

Individual guidance

Our programs start with private and personalized counseling and walk you and your student through the entire college planning process.

Kids, teens & adults

Getting your student into the college of their dreams involves proper coordination between students and parents.

Where to start?

Most families don't even know what questions to ask.  So the Essentials workshop is a great place to begin the planning journey.

Three ways to go...

What you need depends on how old your kids are.  See below to see what's appropriate for you and your family.

Let our experts do the work

What we can do for your students depends on how old they are.  If they're under 13, you'll want to look into the Underclass program.  If they're in high school already, the Upperclass program is what you need. If you are just checking things out, the 'Essentials' workshop is perfect!

The Essentials workshop is an 80-minute workshop that gives you insight into the modern college process.  It's perfect for parents who have college-bound kids of any age - a GREAT starting point.

The Underclass program can start as early as you like and can be financed with 0% interest.  As long as it's covered by the end of the sophomore year...we're good!

The Upperclass program is for parents of students already in high school.  A one-hour meeting, access to our planning software and the 'Essentials' workshop is included here.

How does college planning work?

It starts by understanding a confusing and complicated process.  The more you know about it, the less painful it will be.  And the less expensive it will be, too.  The average time it takes for students to get out with an undergraduate degree is over 5 years.  PROPER planning prevents this and thereby saves you tons of hard-earned cash.  This, among other things, is what we help our families get their heads around.

Simply put, this isn't the process that you went through when you were in college back in the day.  It's a different animal now and it changes every year.

What is a Certified College Planning Specialist (CCPS)?

A professional who is certified in the field and guides families through the minefield.  There are changes every single year that need to be understood so families are prepared.  Our CCPSs do just that.  PREPARE your family for educational costs that can be as much as a home..

Watch our workshop...learn and engage

Our "The Essentials" course is 97 dollars and a GREAT way to educate yourself and get an invaluable snapshot of where your student and family currently stand in the process. Things are different than when mom and dad were in college and these changes will impact how you navigate the process and how much you end up paying.  This workshop is a great way to get started in this crazy process!
